So I think I already know the curriculum/assortment that I want for Emma next year. I've FINALLY made my decision after much thought and research. This is what I've come up with:
Sonlight Core C
Math U See Gamma
Training for Triumph (LA)
So the Sonlight covers History, Geography, Read-Alouds, Readers, and Bible. I personally have enjoyed the History lessons and have learned so much this year and..ahem..so has Emma. And next year they (Sonlight) will continue on from where we left off at the end of this year with the study of Rome. One of the things I love about Sonlight is that they include stories of missionaries as well. This year we read about George Mueller and I have to say that was probably one of my favorites by far!
The Math U See is ,well, math of course. Math is math. Never was one of my favorites but we like this particular program so we're sticking with it for now.
The language arts is a new one this year. I wasn't crazy about last years so I found this one called Training for Triumph. They incorporate character training into grammar and spelling?? I think it sounds good so we'll try it. I'll let you know how it goes. Then of course another Handwriting without tears workbook because she could use some improvement in that area.
That's it for a very boring post if you don't homeschool! Sorry. =)
