Cody comes home in the morning bright and early at the Kannapolis train station with my mom. He's been gone for 5 nights! I will be glad to see him. Yes. I will.
But...
Peace as we have known it will come to an end. Let's just say....how can I put it nicely....ok, Cody adds "energy" to this house. Yes, lots of energy. Always something brewing with that one.
Anyways, he has enjoyed his time with my parents and they with him....although I'm sure they will need about two weeks to recover!
Emma has been able to have much more attention, go shopping, stay up late and play games. I mean, we've played ALOT of games!
I've learned something these last few days though. If God hadn't sent us Cody I might think I had it all together. Emma and Beau together are basically like having just one kid. They are so easy. You see, Cody keeps my pride in check.
Patience is a hard one to learn. Do any of us ever really get there? I don't know. Cody is what we have called several times, our sanctifier. We love him so much and he is super cute (if I do say so myself!) but he can test our patience with whining...or mischief....or a runny nose.
I believe, I HAVE to believe, that God has a very special purpose for him and one day I will say "Aha!" And so I will just keep on keepin' on! =)
