Well that's all just pie in the sky!

So our neighbor "Mr. John" brought us over about eight juicy, fuzzy Georgia (I think he said GA) peaches the other night.  I knew there was no way we could eat all of them before they went bad.  So what else to do but cut them up to make peach pie!! 


When I lived at home my mom always made her own crust.  Apparently it was a family tradition.  So when I got married I wanted to continue it.  So I asked my mom for the recipe.
Look closely for the drawing of the man playing a flute.  That's a humorous little illustration  for "fluting" the pie.  haha!


 Three pages of instructions!  Actually it's not really that hard to make crust.  It just takes longer.  But it's soo good!
